Auto Dip Glazing Machine MVM
This equipment is ideal for ensuring high-quality glazing on a ceramic production line.
The MVM is a machine designed to dip two pieces simultaneously, significantly increasing glazing efficiency. Its three-axis system allows multiple infeed and outfeed configurations depending on the geometry of the piece, including programmable entry and exit angles into the glazing vat. The rotation speed of the pieces is also fully programmable, ensuring uniform glaze application.
After glazing, the machine positions both pieces in a raised ergonomic position, allowing safe and comfortable removal by the operator. The workpiece holders are custom-designed according to customer specifications and are equipped with a vacuum suction system to securely grip the pieces.
Glaze feeding is carried out through a figure-eight-shaped vat, supplied by two variable-flow pumps with programmable rotation percentage. This system enables precise control of glaze flow for internal glazing while maintaining a constant glaze level in the vats.
The operator controls and monitors the machine via a 10” HMI touchscreen with Wi-Fi connectivity. The interface, developed in-house by RJC, allows remote access, full programmability of automation functions, productivity monitoring and access management, fully complying with Industry 4.0 requirements.
In addition to the single-station model, the dipping glazing machine is also available in a two-station version.
This configuration is ideal for production lines with high output requirements, allowing two glazing operations to be carried out in parallel. The dual-station design significantly increases glazing capacity, effectively doubling productivity while maintaining consistent quality and uniform glaze application.
