LPA – Automatic Polishing and Stamping Line
The automatic polishing and stamping line is an industrial system designed for finishing the surface of ceramic products and marking them using an automatic stamping system. This machine optimizes the production process, facilitating the operator’s work and ensuring greater uniformity and quality in the finished pieces.
Operating Modes of the Automatic Polishing and Stamping Line
The machine has three different operating modes (Polishing Mode, Stamping Mode, and Polishing + Stamping Mode). These modes are selected via a three-position rotary switch located on the main control panel.
Polishing Mode
In Polishing Mode, the machine only performs the polishing of the ceramic pieces.
Pressing the Start button will activate the conveyor belts and the two polishers. As each piece passes in front of a polishing unit, the polishing head will move up and down to polish the surface of the piece.
Stamping Mode
In Stamping Mode, the machine only stamps the pieces, leaving the polishers deactivated.
Pressing the Start button activates the conveyor belts. When a piece passes the measurement sensor, it measures the midpoint of the piece. As the piece reaches the first stamping sensor, the stamp is activated, and upon reaching the second stamping sensor, the conveyor stops until stamping is completed.
The table height is adjusted via the stamp table height control on the control panel. (See Image No. 9)
Polishing + Stamping Mode
This mode combines the two previous modes.
When the conveyor stops for stamping, the polishers are raised to prevent excessive polishing of the pieces located in the polishing area, ensuring accurate finishing and stamping.
The polishing line has approximate dimensions of 8 × 2 × 1.3 m and a weight of 650 kg. Electrical specifications include: installed power of 5 kW, voltage 400/230 VAC, and frequency 50 Hz.
